Anajak Bangkok Hotel - SHA Plus

Bangkok is a tricky place to stay if you want to be in Pratunam next to several of the key sites. With this hotel you are out of downtown so it is easier to get to. 10 minutes’ walk to famous Platinum Mall or Big C. This was our second stay at Anajak for three nights. The hotel feels just as comfortable as the first time. It’s just meters away from the Phaya Thai station. The small alley off the main road leads to the carpark and entrance which is why it is very safe, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the famous Bangkok. The reception staffs were very welcoming and helpful. Our rooms #5108 and #5109 are on the 5th floor where both architecture and interior design are beautiful and incredibly clean. One cannot go up with the elevator from the 2nd floor onwards without the key card. Wi-Fi signal is very good but still need to log in again and again. Breakfast buffet which starts from 7:00 a.m., until 10:00 was amazing with a delicious omelets station and menu changes every day. No free flow f coffee though. The water at the swimming pool was cold but good for a quick dip. Don’t expect to lie in the sun as it is under the second building. Note that there is no lift to the rooms on the second building. Getting there, from Don Mueang Airport by a metered taxi cost around THB 250 and an extra 80 THB if you are taking the express way. For God knows what reason, the airport taxi charges 90 THB in addition. The hotel will book you a taxi for the price of THB 500 – THB 700 on the way back to Don Muang. From Suvarnabhumi Airport, just use the airport link for THB 45 per person. Overall a very good stay and a lovely hotel. We will be staying only at this hotel on our next visits.

A lovely little hotel literally a 5 minute walk from Phaya Thai station. We were warmly welcomed, and the check in was smooth. Our particular room, although well maintained, very clean and with a comfortable bed, was a little quirky in its set up, but as we were only staying two nights, wasn’t an issue. The hotel is beautifully maintained, the staff are just lovely and the breakfast delicious. There’s a pool, but we were busy exploring so didn’t get a chance to use it, but it looked nice. The location is awesome. Right on the Airport line and the BTS so getting around is super easy. There are some great restaurants in the area - especially Hua Rod Juk Rang Rod Fai (good food, service and music). Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Anajak and would definitely return.

Value for money with a spacious room and the golden location which is connected to Airport Railway Link and BTS skytrain, friendly and helpful staffs, breakfast / take-away breakfast, swimming pool, parking garage.

Check in and check out was quick. The breakfast was good. We didn't have time to go to the pool. It is 2 minutes away from the airport metro. So in terms of location or is great.

We chose this hotel due to it's location very close (150 yds) to the Phaya Thai station for the airport link about a 5 minute walk (does include a flight of stairs to access the station) and approximately 25 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The airport link railway is accessed through the skytrain (BTS) station. It's very easy to travel through Bangkok using the BTS trains and/or linking up with the MRT (Subway/Underground) Our room was good, a little quirky layout and with a nice balcony to sit outside with a beer whilst it rained.
